Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the butter, rosemary, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rinse the turkey and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Loosen the skin over the breast and legs, and smear the butter mixture under the skin.
  5. Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 3 hours.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional hour, or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Unbaked 9-inch Deep Dish Pie Crust
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Can (15 oz.) Pumpkin
  • 1 Can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 Tsp. Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Dark Corn Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, Melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  3. Pour into the unbaked pie crust.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, corn syrup, and melted butter.
