Hey y’all, fall is coming and I was searching the web for some inspiration on what to read during the cozy season. And guess what I found? This cute little image of some big googly eyes!
Take a Look at These Bad Boys
Don’t they just make you smile? I mean, if these eyes could talk, they’d probably say, “Hey, let’s read some books and get cozy!” And I couldn’t agree more.
Fall Into a Good Book with Me
I did a little research on the source of this image and it turns out they have some great book recommendations for second graders. And you know what? I don’t care if I’m not in second grade anymore, I’m still down for some of these reads.
So Here’s My Fall Reading List:
- The Testaments by Margaret Atwood: I loved The Handmaid’s Tale so much, I can’t wait to dive into this sequel.
- The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates: This one has been on my radar for a while and I’m ready to finally read it.
- The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah: I’ve heard amazing things about this book and I’m excited to see what all the fuss is about.
- The Dutch House by Ann Patchett: Another one that’s been on my list for a while. I’m a big fan of Ann Patchett’s writing and can’t wait to read this one.
Cozy Up with a Good Book
So there you have it, my fall reading list. And while I know these big googly eyes may have nothing to do with my book selections, they did inspire me to get into the mindset of fall and cozying up with a good book. So grab a book, make some tea, and let’s get reading.
