Oklahoma Football ScheduleCan you believe it? The 2020 Oklahoma football season is already here! As the die-hard OU fans that we are, it’s time to gear up and get ready for another exciting year of college football.

Looking at the schedule, there are a few key matchups that we simply can’t miss. Let’s break them down one by one.

Oklahoma vs. Texas (October 10)

Oklahoma vs. TexasThere’s simply no rivalry quite like the Red River Showdown. This year’s matchup between the Sooners and the Longhorns is shaping up to be a classic. As always, the game will take place in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Hopefully, Lincoln Riley and the Sooners can get the better of Tom Herman and the Longhorns.

Oklahoma vs. Baylor (December 5)

Oklahoma vs. BaylorOne of the things that makes the Big 12 so exciting is its round-robin schedule. This year, Oklahoma and Baylor are the clear favorites to win the conference. With the game scheduled for December 5th, it could very well be a de-facto Big 12 Championship game.

Oklahoma vs. TCU (October 24)

Oklahoma vs. TCUTCU is one of the few teams in the Big 12 that consistently gives Oklahoma trouble. The Horned Frogs won the last matchup between the two teams in 2019 by a score of 24-17. This year, the game will take place in Fort Worth on October 24th. It’ll be interesting to see how Lincoln Riley and his team game plan for Gary Patterson’s defense.

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State (November 21)

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma StateBedlam. That’s all that needs to be said. Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State is one of the most intense rivalries in all of college football. This year’s game will take place on November 21st in Norman. Oklahoma State always seems to give Oklahoma a run for their money, and this year should be no different.

So there you have it, folks. These are just a few of the many exciting matchups we can look forward to in the 2020 Oklahoma football season. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to put on my crimson and cream and cheer on our boys all the way to the College Football Playoff.
