Bracket Madness – CLARITY STRIPE

CLARITY STRIPE NCAA BracketThe official NCAA tournament bracket has been released, and it’s time for us to all hone our predictions and fill out the best brackets we can. With so many talented teams vying for a spot to play in the National Championship game, there’s no telling who will come out on top.

For those of you who are new to the tournament or need a refresher, the NCAA tournament sees 68 teams from across the country compete in a single-elimination format. Each team is seeded 1 through 16 based on their regular season performance, and the top four seeds in each region get what is considered an easier path to the final game, or so we think.

The first round of the tournament officially begins with the First Four, which takes place on Tuesday, March 17th, and Wednesday, March 18th in Dayton, Ohio. After that, the winner of each game moves on to the normal tournament and joins the other 64 teams, giving us what is known as March Madness! All games from then on will be played at neutral sites, so no one has a home court advantage.

As for the top seeds, the four number one seeds are Kansas, Gonzaga, Baylor, and San Diego State. These are the teams that many believe have the best chance of winning, but, as we all know, anything can happen in the tournament. Last year, for example, a 16-seed, UMBC, beat a 1-seed, Virginia, which is the first and only time that has ever happened in the history of the tournament.

Another exciting thing about this year’s tournament is that there are so many potential upsets that could happen in the early rounds. This could lead to a lot of bracket breakers and busted pools. With teams like Dayton and San Francisco making their way into the tournament with double-digit seeds, it’s clear that anything can happen this year.

So get your brackets ready, gather your friends, family, and office coworkers and prepare to experience the joy and the madness that is March Madness. It’s time to fill out your brackets and see who will be crowned as this year’s NCAA basketball champion. Best of luck to all!
