Let’s Talk About Golf Card Game

Golf Card Game RulesAre you tired of playing the same old card games with your squad? Have you ever heard of the Golf Card Game? If not, you’re in for a treat! This fast-paced, easy-to-learn game is perfect for any get-together.

What You’ll Need:

  • A standard deck of 52 cards (jokers are not used)
  • 2-4 players
  • Your competitive spirit!

How to Play:

The goal of the game is to get the lowest number of points. Each round consists of 9 holes, which are hands of 3 cards each. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game is the winner!

To start, shuffle the deck of cards and deal three cards to each player. The dealer then places the remaining deck face down in the center of the table. This is called the “stockpile.”

Next, the top card of the stockpile is flipped over and placed next to the stockpile. This is called the “discard pile.”

On each turn, players can choose to draw the top card from the stockpile or the top card from the discard pile. The goal is to create a hand with the lowest possible score. In this game, Aces are worth 1 point, face cards are worth 10 points, and all other cards are worth their face value.

After a player draws a card, they must discard one card from their hand onto the discard pile. The round ends when a player has all cards in their hand that are worth 10 or more points. This is called the “hole.” Once a player reaches a hole, they must stop drawing cards for the rest of the round and wait for the other players to finish.

At the end of the round, each player counts the total number of points in their hand. The player with the lowest score earns zero points for the round, while the other players earn points based on their total score. The game continues for 9 rounds, and the player with the lowest score at the end of the game is the winner!

Pro Tips:

  • Pay attention to the cards that are being discarded by other players. This can give you a sense of what cards are still in play and what hands your opponents might be creating.
  • Try to create hands with several small cards, such as Aces and twos. This will help you keep your score low.
  • Don’t get discouraged if you have a high score in one round - there are still 8 more rounds left to play!

So, what are you waiting for? Grab a deck of cards and challenge your friends to a game of Golf Card Game. Let the competition begin!
