Howdy folks! Have y’all ever heard of the 4-H pledge? Well, let me tell ya, it’s quite the hoot! Just take a gander at this picture I found:

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “What in tarnation is a 4-H pledge?” Well, let this ol’ gal explain it to ya!
You see, 4-H is a youth organization that aims to develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills through various projects and activities. And the pledge, well, it goes a little somethin’ like this:
“I pledge my head to clearer-thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.”
Now, ain’t that just the darndest thing you’ve ever heard? I mean, pledging your hands to larger service? You gotta admire that kind of commitment.
And just look at that cute little clover in the corner of the picture. Ain’t it just adorable? It’s like a lucky charm or somethin'.
